Welcome to
Lessons Beyond the Veil
I hope these lessons will be a next step along your spiritual journey, which really is a journey without end. This is merely a way station for you to pause and gather some new information to enhance what you already know along your own unique spiritual path your Soul Path. When you are ready to remember what you forgot when you came into this world, all of this will make perfect sense to you. But do not stop here for long, continue to seek Wisdom throughout your life on earth for you will have many teachers, and many students along the way. You are the butterfly emerging from his cocoon, the lotus blossom arising from the swamp and opening its face to God. You are awakening from a deep sleep. Keep an open mind, suspend judgment, listen to your heart, and get out of your own way! You were guided to this page, there is a reason for you to be here now, perhaps a lesson you need to learn for your spiritual growth.
If it hasn't happened yet, sometime in your life you will be faced with your own immortality and question everything you ever believed to be true. Many of the people who come across my web site are those who lives have been torn apart by death or other great loss, and they don't know how to cope. Some are suicidal. Others are actively seeking answers to their existential questions, Who Am I? and Why Am I Here? Some say their religion has failed them. Many are realizing the world isn't what they've been told it is and we're not who they told us we are supposed to be. Some are scientific-minded and are trying to figure out how life after death can be proven, how to bridge the gap between Science and Spirit. Some as young as junior high schoolers, are already writing papers about near death experiences and attitudes about death; spiritual seekers and college students are writing research papers and books to increase our knowledge about this important event in each of our lives. You come to this place not by chance from all over the planet seeking answers to the same questions. We are all seeking to know the Source of our Being, our Purpose in Life, the Meaning of Life, is there Life After Life. That is our Soul Path to Know Thyself. How each of us does that manifests in how we live our human life.
There is the potential to change societal attitudes toward death, so that fear of death/of ceasing to exist doesn't rule our lives, emanating from the energy of near death experiencers. I'm just one, but millions of people around the world are having similar experiences in which they find themselves existing in other dimensions, similarly but differently-- in environments filled with unconditional love and acceptance, where we see our loved ones again and feel so loved by God, it is nearly... no, it is overwhelming. Could all 6 million of us just be nuts or is something important happening to human consciousness? Are we just now realizing what all religions have been trying to tell us all along because more people are talking about having the same experiences written about a few people who had near death experiences and other spiritual experiences 2,000, 5,000 or 10,000 years ago? We have something to teach others and if you find one of us, then we are here to teach you, even just one new thing... and then let you go on to find your highest good on your own path.
When the student is ready, the teacher appears
A spiritual path takes many interesting twists and turns through our lifetimes. Sometimes we are on our path and don't know it; sometimes we are off our path and may not even realize we're on a path. But we're all on a spiritual path whether we know it or not, whether we choose to believe it or not, whether we want to be or not. We are all somewhere along our own spiritual path and are mirrors for each other on this journey. It's not a competition, no one is ahead or behind... we are all simply where we are right now trying to make the best of it.
When we are on our Soul Path and know it, we perceive events in our lives as lessons which we need to pay attention to and learn from; not as obstacles, tragedies, and sufferings, but to help us learn to reflect God's Love for us in the physical world. To become compassionate, loving, caring beings living harmoniously with our environment and each other. That's not some Utopian dream or religious fantasy of heaven on earth, that's a distinct possibility given the ingenuity and creativity of Human Beings. We are not each others' enemies. Were does it say that we must be at each others' throats all the time over this, that or the other thing? Especially over who's right? No one's right. Personally, I'd rather be part of this strangely wonderful unfolding process than blow it all up just to prove I'm right. The truth is, none of us know anything. We're all making this up as we go along.
My Soul Path has led me to become a spiritual teacher. It certainly wasn't something I planned or anything I even thought about before my near death experience. It just seems to have evolved into this. I have learned so much from corresponding with thousands of visitors the past 7 years through this web site. I feel very blessed. Mostly what I have learned is to find the words to explain the unexplainable so it makes sense to other people, which helps them progress on their own spiritual paths. I get a lot of "Nobody ever explained it to me like that before...," "It all makes sense now...," I always knew that, I just didn't know how to say it..." and the like. I was given a gift of the potential for communicating the ineffable during my near death experience (1971) to awaken others to the memory that we are spiritual beings having human experiences and, while we're in human form, we need to lighten up!
Work like you don't need the money.
Love like you've never been hurt.
Dance like nobody's watching.
Sing like nobody's listening.
Live like it's Heaven on Earth.
God loves us-- have fun, don't harm others, do some good, share, be kind, enjoy this wonderful opportunity in this beautiful place to have caring relationships with others and explore all the possibilities life has to offer. This is just another way of saying what pretty much every religion says, except without the threat of judgment, vengeance, hell, fire and damnation attached to it. We don't need to be threatened to become compassionate beings. We just need to know we are loved unconditionally and that there is no death because we are at the same time both Human and Divine (just as Jesus showed us and told us we could do even more miracles than he). And that is how it is. We are loved unconditionally and we have an infinite universe in which to express our creativity. How is this not Paradise?
Whatever your religious beliefs or skepticism, keep an open mind. Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater. Some of what I write will offend you, that's an instant message telling you this is something you need to delve into within yourself. You may realize you have been in denial that your rigidly held belief system no longer works for you. Your Soul can't be contained once you have opened the door to higher consciousness. It will continue to urge you to further seeking. Whether you are in the midst of existential angst or steadfast in your beliefs, if you continue with these lessons you will either confirm and strengthen your own beliefs or awaken from your unconsciousness when the false walls you have put up crumble before you. The latter may have to rebuild their foundation, but it will become a stronger one than before and they will find the joy that has been missing from their lives. Those who find themselves saying, "Yes, of course, I knew that all the time. I just forgot," will experience an awakening into higher consciousness and change the course of their lives in a short time. They will have risen above the collective and will see the world in a whole new way.
Toward developing my gift, after seven years of trying to forget my NDE, I returned to education. I was guided to study psychology after wrenching my back lifting heavy food containers at work and I was unable to work, had no insurance, lost my job, and ended up on Welfare. After three months, when I could be up and around for more than a few hours, I volunteered at a community center and ended up working at a battered women's shelter. It was there I knew I was to become a counselor and made the decision to go back to college. Counseling came naturally to me, but I needed a degree to have any credibility. It wasn't easy going back to college as a 37 year old single mother with three young teenagers to support, but that's another story. Following graduation five years later, I became a consultant, teaching and counseling in personal growth and management/employee development. In 1986, before hardly anyone knew what stress was, I opened The Stress Management Center. I taught classes, including meditation/relaxation techniques, for corporations, community groups and individuals. I think most of them thought I was nuts at the time!
The next year my sister, who had become a massage therapist, and I expanded the concept, and opened a holistic health center where she did the body work, and I did the counseling and educational classes to help people integrate mind and body for their personal growth. Am I psychic? Many of my clients thought so. I prefer to think I have highly developed intuitive skills and a unique ability to see the whole picture, from the Soul perspective. I do have spirit guides working with me, but I'm not a psychic or a medium.
In 1987, accidentally attending a Harmonic Convergence event led me into deeper spiritual seeking and a few years later, I became an ordained minister and completed a master's degree program in hypnotherapy. As a counselor, my work became Mind-Body-Spirit-oriented. I called it psycho-spiritual counseling, though I'm not sure that fully describes it. It didn't take me long to realize the value of past life regression as a therapeutic tool with my clients. June Bletzer and I were co-leading a metaphysical open forum in St. Petersburg, Florida at the time and ended up doing some research together toward developing a theory for past life regression, which showed us there was more to the theory of reincarnation than karmic justice, as she wrote about in her recently published book Self-Disclosure of a SOUL Memory. You really should read it if you want to understand reincarnation and karma.
I channeled a book in 1989 called Sitting in the Lotus Blossom, the result of stepping down information received while practicing kundalini yoga, from entities on other planes, but the publishing world wasn't ready for it. Much of that wisdom is the basis for what will appear on these pages. In 1992, I wrote Through the Tunnel and published it myself, whether the world was ready for it or not. I'm usually 10 years ahead of the times (now everybody knows about stress management and mind-body-spirit integration work is coming into its own) so I figure the world's attitude toward death and dying will reach critical mass in the next few years, and all that has gone before has prepared me to be in this place in this time with the power of the internet to help others comprehend God's great and unconditional love for all of us, as I experienced it during my all too brief visit home 30 years ago.
I'm not telling you anything you don't already know. I'm just reminding you that you know it. Those are the Aha!s you will experience as you read and meditate on these lessons. Because you've kept it in the dark all your life, you haven't been living your life with integrity, which is why your life is rife with problems, filled with misunderstandings. When it's out in the light, you have the choice to take responsibility for your life and become all that you can be as a spiritual being having a human experience. Your potential for doing good in the world, going about your Soul's business instead of your own ego-gratification, expands greatly in the light. With that in mind, the information I'm going to share in these Lessons from Beyond the Veil, for those who are ready to wake up, will help you ride the wave of the paradigm shift into Higher Consciousness. I hope you'll join us for the evolution.
Peace & Joy!
Diane

If it resonates with your beliefs, you are welcome to continue the journey and explore the mysteries through these lessons on your search for your own Truth. It is my intention to open your mind and get you to re-examine your belief system, not to tell you what to believe nor to dissuade you from your religion. What you read here may expand your consciousness and strengthen your beliefs or you may chose to dismiss it and remain unconscious.
